World Autism Awareness Day ❤️
Today marks a very special day in the HappiMe calendar, World Autism Awareness Day.
Since our launch more than 10 years ago, the HappiMe team has been passionate about making a difference in the lives of every person who comes to us seeking support, and right now, more than 80% of our clients and service users are neurodivergent. 🥰
As the number of wonderful neurodivergent individuals reaching out has increased, we have learned that there simply are not enough services out there for Autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent individuals. We think this is heartbreaking!
Furthermore, many of the individuals coming to us have been stung by organisations that have not understood them or their needs. How awful is that?! 🥺
So, today we wanted to take a moment to say to every extraordinary, fantastic neurodivergent person out there...
