How can we help families with children with ASD find an accessible and affordable treatment solution?
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a therapy that focuses on teaching children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) the skills they need to improve their daily activities, such as communication, language and social skills. It is an intensive therapy that requires a dedicated therapist for a relatively long period of time, which means that it is not the most affordable treatment for parents who either live outside of a capital city (where specialists can usually be found) or have limited financial resources.
However, research shows that nearly 60% of the knowledge needed to manage a child's treatment can be learned by parents through an accessible training programme, which can be a lifesaver for those who do not have easy access to ABA treatment.
After detailed and intensive research into the field, we helped our clients at the Applied Behaviour Center of Kuwait to develop Manara, an accessible digital platform designed to provide an affordable alternative for parents, children and therapists alike. Manara not only guarantees expert training for parents but also provides ongoing remote support from professional ABA therapy experts.
The digital platform has been designed with parents and therapists in mind, with each party able to enjoy tailored features that support and enhance each other's experience throughout the process. All delivered through a beautiful new brand that capitalises on the concept of the lighthouse (Manara is Arabic for lighthouse) to shine a light on autism parenting.

Last Thursday, we did NOT host an event.
We invited a handful of our closest clients to an intimate dinner at our studio.
We wanted to create a space that invited meaningful conversations about design, artificial intelligence, intuition, dilemmas and tough decisions.
About everything that doesn’t fit in a brief, but defines a product.
And among us...
AI was there too.
We brought it into the process:
to help shape the menu,
to inspire the welcome speech,
to explore the aesthetics,
to suggest, challenge, provoke.
It made us think.
It pulled us out of the obvious.
And reminded us of something essential:
technology is brilliant, but human judgment (still) leads.
It was a rich night in every sense.
Deep conversations. Unexpected exchanges.
And one clear takeaway: we need more spaces like this.
Less format. More truth.

Last Friday we were at Blanc! Festival Madrid, one of the most exciting design events in Spain, where @paco_fernandz - CDO, and @miguelpriera - Product Designer, took the stage to challenge dominant methodologies — those based on sprints, data, and user interviews.
They shared how, at Hanzo, we apply these frameworks — along with emerging tools like AI — with flexibility, always guided by creative intuition; an intuition that not only helps us question what’s expected but also has the power to emotionally shape behavior in digital products.
