Still not over this one… 🤍
2026 BEST OF WINNER 🥹✨
truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I started this business shortly after having my second in July of 2023, in those early postpartum days, I was offering pay what you can sessions with a baby on my back and a dream I couldn’t shake. It was slow, messy, beautiful beginnings that somehow turned into this. Becoming a mom lit an even bigger fire in me, this deep pull to slow time down, to hold onto the fleeting, to preserve a moment before it slips into memory.
Photography has always been apart of my life, from being an awkward middle schooler staging photoshoots with my dolls, which turned into friends in high school to being a wanna be blogger at our first duty station (forever grateful for my sweet bestie for taking photos with me at a sketchy target in North Charleston) to my friends here that posed for “sessions” before I had even invested in a professional camera. Photography has been my constant and my passion, slowing time has given me strength. Preserving your memories my reason for being.
We rolled right into deployment after my youngest turned one, and immediately after, my husband moved up to DC. Seasons of solo parenting (that we’re slowly but surely getting through, almost one year down only two more years of geobaching to go lol), long days, late nights, figuring it out as I went but also the kind of support from this community that I will never be able to put into words.
To every family who showed up, trusted me, shared your stories, and let me into your lives, this is because of you. You built this with me.
I am beyond blessed to do what I love, in a place that feels like home, surrounded by the most incredible people. I say it all the time, but I have the best job in the world.
Hampton Roads, you have my whole heart.
thank you for choosing me, again and again. 2026 has been such an incredible year, I truly cannot wait to see where else it takes us.
until next time,
Hannah 🤍✨
Watching a friend step into this season is so precious.
Welcoming her second baby with more confidence, more softness, and that quiet knowing that only comes once you’ve been here before. The way her hands rest so naturally, the calm in the waiting, the love already so full before baby is even here. I’ve never seen someone so suited for motherhood 🤍
Y’all when I say this corner was put together with a hope, a dream, and a staple gun that’s not even a joke. But it’s creating the dreamiest backdrop. Should we do Mother’s Day photos here?

Let’s chat for a second 🤍
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about what I want this space to feel like, and even more so what I want your experience to feel like when you step in front of my camera.
Minis have always had such a sweet place in my heart, and they’re not going anywhere entirely, but if I’m being really honest, they’ve started to feel a little like a sales pitch, and that’s just not who I am. The watermelon sessions I posted in my story I’m going to open up as two thirty minute sessions, discounted because I’m setting the date and time, but that gives you time for your crew to just exist. Play on the farm, and soak up the summer sun, not pop in front of my camera smile and next.
I didn’t start this business as a salesperson, I started it as a mom. I started it because I wanted to hold onto time and capture the little things that pass by way too quickly. And while we can absolutely create beautiful photos in 15 minutes, you deserve more than that. You deserve time to settle in, to breathe, to be seen, and to have your story told in a way that doesn’t feel rushed. I don’t want to be bound to that window, because let’s face it life and meltdowns and booboos happen so let’s embrace those moments while having time to notice the small things.
I want sessions that feel like your real life, just a little softer and a little slower. Let’s go ride bikes, grab ice cream, play in the sand until everyone’s a little messy, wander the farm, and let your kids just be exactly who they are in this season.
Because I know how much time and effort it takes to get everyone dressed, packed up, and out the door, and it should feel like more than a quick in and out. It should feel worth it, like something you’ll look back on and remember, not just the photos, but the feeling of it all.
Christmas minis will absolutely still be on, because that kind of magic is its own thing entirely (hello Santa!), but outside of that, I want to create more space for sessions that truly capture childhood, connection, and everything in between.
So this is me opening the door a little wider. If you’ve been craving something that feels a little more like you, I’m here for it 🤍
