I felt I needed a separate space for the shorter, more pleasing pieces vs. other experiments. So I decided to separate it from @springinthebody which I’m still working on.

Couldn’t decide which mix to post so here are two. First is leaning on the drum mics with the pitched part as a layer, and the second one is just two re-pitched samples playing with the @ableton transient options in the clip warp.

Started 2025 in Yokohama and ended the year in Hollywood. In between, I went just about everywhere else. It was difficult, but I’m so grateful. I can confidently say I never worked so hard in my life as I did this past year.
I played drums, teched backline, did some stage managing and some production managing and some life managing. Some camping, some hiking, some work on my dad’s plane, and I built a studio and finished an album. I played a ton of games of all kinds. My old band put out a magnum opus record I thought would never see the light of day. I went on the best tours I’ve ever been on and I learned a hundred new skills. None of these things would be possible without my partner, the best teams in the music industry, and the best friends I could have in this world.
In 2026, you can find me in Los Angeles at my studio, in Australia, in Europe, and around the US at least one more time. But I’m really looking forward to recording as much as possible. Thanks for having me ✌️
