we’ve tried so many different diaper brands, but I always find myself buying @parasolco diapers again and again! Aiden has sensitive skin, so I love that the RashShield adds an extra, soothing layer of protection. The wipes are also the perfect thickness and are embossed to pick up everything that gets in the nooks and crannies (iykyk😅)

The nightly house reset while I’m solo parenting is among my top horrors as a mom 💀 I get through it by telling myself motherhood is just as much washing dishes and picking up toys as it is playing and giving hugs…..also rewarding myself with ice cream when I’m done, even if it’s 11pm😌

As a pediatric OT and mom of two, I’m always looking for creative ways we can make the most out of the toys we already have, and stepping stones are one of my favorites for that!! They’re truly so versatile and can be used for way more than just stepping stones. I have the @nubyusa StepPebbles and they’re a hit in our house✨👏🏼
4 ways we play:
🌈COLOR SORT
*categorization skills
* visual discrimination
🌈STACKING CHALLENGE
* force modulation (how much pressure to use)
* fine + gross motor control
* hand-eye coordination
🌈SPINNING + ROLLING:
This provides important sensory input such as:
* vestibular input (movement + balance)
* proprioceptive input (body awareness and pressure input)
🌈WATER PLAY
Take these to the bath or outside and you’ve got:
* sensory play
* bilateral coordination (using both hands together)
* real-life skills like pouring and scooping
Simple, versatile, and actually keeps them engaged 🙃
Save this for the next time you need a quick play idea to keep your toddler occupied for a longggg time 🫡

Here are three fun ways to develop your baby’s pincer grasp, from a pediatric OT and mom of 2!
The pincer grasp (thumb opposed to index finger) is a crucial fine motor skill that is the foundation for so many of the things we do every day, like writing, eating, getting dressed, opening containers, etc.
The pincer grasp emerges around 9 months and will continue to refine and strengthen into toddlerhood!
@littlespoon snacks are the best motivator for my little guy to practice his pincer grasp 😆
