Been a while! 2026 started out pretty rough, with a lot of unexpected change and the emotional upheaval that comes with that. But in true form, the calm on the other side of that storm feels especially precious, and worth sharing. So here’s a collection of memories I never want to forget, with humans I treasure, in a land I love.

Hometown heart full on these fall colors. It’s been forever since I experienced the autumn of my childhood - that amber ember palette, crisp air, wood smoke rising from chimneys, sunshine through birch & maples, fat deer and crafty chipmunks, crunch crunch go the feet. It’s cliche and poetic and soothing to the nervous system. Basically the earth signaling - it’s ok to rest now. I accept.

An ode Oregon in the springtime. Lots of stopping to smell the roses and other embodied clichés. . . Pics 1 &10 by @tojupiterlovegrace

Lil dream trip to the land of lemons! It was a birthday trip but also Euro Trip Part II with my longtime love @chelsea_uniqorn . Part I involved lots of boxed wine and sleeping in 12-bed hostel rooms or on the floors of ferries, so it was a treat to step it up a notch. Fun fact: The unique microclimate of the Amalfi Coast allows lemon trees to fruit all year round, and the Amalfitanos take full advantage—turning them into anything you can think of, and it’s divine. Fun fact #2: Anything from the island of Capri is called Caprese—including the people and anything made there (not just our fave tomato salad). Who knew, right?

A sweet peach of a beach! My favorite beaches are the tiny ones—hidden gems tucked inside horseshoe bays or cradled in a cliffside crevice. The path to find and reach them is usually involves a boat, a bajillion steps, or scaling rocks. But the reward—more than the calm, crystal water and eyes-wide-open views—is a certain feeling. The awe of being such a speck against the cosmos of the ocean, while also feeling cozy and protected, sheltered in the earth’s arms. At its root, I guess it’s about feeling secure and expansive at the same time. And I treasure it.
