So honoured to be a part of Notes on Khulu, an exhibition exploring Lineage and Legacy alongside the incredible @dontblamebaha a documentary photographer from Palestine/Jordan, and photojournalists Benny Gool and Sumaya Hisham who intimately documented the Tutu Family. This show is a tribute to Desmond Tutu’s fight for justice and acknowledges the spirit of resistance that lives on through the next generation. Curated by Nyaniso Tutu-Burris and Bronwyn Davis, The show opens to the public on 16 October at @artandindustry_cpt 💌

Ha da ge a - Ons is hie (ENG: we are here)- in deep remembrance of the legacy of visual resistance and memory work I’ve inherited from generations of Black Queer African women and gender diverse people. I am born of many hearts, one of which is that of Lucy Campbell (centre frame) 🫀 I’m really excited to be a part of the @latitudes.online Anna Award top 12 this year amongst so many incredible artists and makers 🤍 Edit: for print requests email me directly, otherwise, this artwork will be uploaded onto the Latitudes website in the next few days.
