I have been really interested in the idea of physical animation recently and this was my first attempt at an animated sculpture. Film, animation, shadow puppetry, projection, automation, mechanics… these are all concepts that swirled around in my head during the creation of this object.

completed this lil mobile mural for @creeksidebluesandjazz this weekend! had so much fun being right next to my buddy @madison.perry.art 🥹
this was my first time trying out this color separation style and I had a lot of fun with it.
this was also my first time painting text on one of my murals. It is loosely inspired/influenced by local comedy icon @taradefrancisco , if you ever need a good boost go check out her content, it’s positive and motivating and silly and just GOOD ❤️
soon this guy will be placed in a Gahanna public park so if you see it in the wild, please share it with me!!
