Hand Forged Cu-Mai Petty 🍊
Lovely damascus core copper san mai steel, with fully forged in taper, bevels and brut de forge finish.
The handle is made from stabilised ringed gidgee and masur birch.
At 150mm long by 35mm deep, finished with a 1000 grit, stropped edge- it means business.
This was made as some stock for the website however got snapped up pretty quick!
Damascus San-Mai MK-I.
So far I have kept the MK-I exclusive to the signature series and themed collections. (Minus the @kitchenknifeguy special)
However after seeing @pacojertel crazy collection, when he asked if I’d do this for him- I agreed.
Could have a soft spot for the MK-I…but this is one of my favourite custom pieces I’ve done- ever.

Franki is a true kitchen knife enthusiast. After speaking with him almost everyday for the past 2 months- I think the “The Kitchen Knife Guy” title suits him well.

Hand Forged Bunka 🧊
This lovely piece was sold before I had a chance to post it. However, it’s still worthy of a post!
80CRV2 carbon steel with the geometry forged in- leaving a lot of the brut de forge finish.
The handle is made from stabilised curly mango, white G10 and a Tiffany blue spacer.
Real appreciation for these hand forged pieces. There’s many things AI can do, making a hand forged knife isn’t one of them.
