Showroom Spotlight - 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 RSR Born from Porsche’s relentless pursuit of competition success in the 70s, the Carrera RSR 3.0 was the ultimate evolution of the early 911. It became the weapon of choice for privateers and factory-backed teams alike, equally at home on circuit racing grids and the world’s toughest rally stages. At the heart of that story is this car, chassis 006 0015. Built in period by renowned French Porsche specialist Louis Meznarie from a factory-supplied shell, it was prepared to full RSR 3.0 specification and entered into the 1975 Tour de France Automobile. Wearing its now-iconic ‘Christine Laure’ livery, it formed part of a golden era where endurance racing and rallying overlapped, and the same car could do both. Its competition history is a roll call of greats. Driven by names including Thierry Sabine, Bruno Saby and Jacques Henry, it competed at the highest level throughout the 70s, scoring multiple victories in French rallying and appearances in the Tour de France Automobile in 1975, 1976 and 1978. What makes the RSR so compelling is its duality. With over 300bhp from its naturally aspirated 3.0-litre flat-six, it delivers raw, high-revving performance, yet retains the balance that made the early 911 such a formidable competition platform. It is as thrilling on a rally stage as it is precise on circuit - one of the last truly multi-purpose GT racers. Today, chassis 006 0015 is presented in spectacular condition, freshly repainted in its 1975 Tour de France livery and maintained by leading Porsche specialists. Backed by FIA HTP papers valid through to 2033 and accompanied by expert authentication, it remains a highly competitive entrant. Eligible for the world’s greatest events, from Le Mans Classic to Tour Auto and beyond, this is not just a front-running passport to historic motorsport. A genuine period-built RSR, raced by legends, and still doing exactly what it was built to do. Available now with @samhancockcars - check out The Showroom for more. 📷: @timscott #PorscheRSR #911RSR #CarreraRSR #ChristineLaure #TourAuto

SOLD We are proud to announce the sale of Williams FW08 chassis 01 — a car that sits at a true turning point in Formula One history. Driven by “Flying Finn” Keke Rosberg to two podium finishes en route to his 1982 World Championship title, this is the very chassis used by Williams to develop the remarkable six-wheeled FW08B — a project so promising it was swiftly outlawed by the FIA. Designed by Patrick Head, Frank Dernie and Neil Oatley, and powered by the legendary Cosworth DFV, the FW08 became the last DFV-engined car ever to win the Formula One World Championship. Chassis 01 would later demonstrate its pace in six-wheel form by winning the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the hands of Jonathan Palmer — a fitting epilogue to an extraordinary career. This is the third time we have had the privilege of placing this hugely significant Grand Prix car with a new custodian, and our second major Formula One sale in recent months. We look forward to seeing it return to the grid later this season, in the hands of its new owner. If you would like to discuss consigning your exceptional competition car, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
