Some news from myself and the Hamptons Whodunit team: After four years serving as Fiction & Marketing Director for Hamptons Whodunit, I am stepping away from my role. This was an incredibly bittersweet decision to make. If you know me, you know how much I love this festival! I have been so fortunate to be involved in Hamptons Whodunit from the beginning, and it’s been a dream come true to be able to plan this festival’s fiction programming and help celebrate so many amazing thriller writers through this very special event. One of the great joys of my life is bringing people together to celebrate the crime fiction genre, and I have truly loved my time in this role. To every author, festival team member, volunteer, bookseller, bookstagrammer, and attendee who has been a part of Hamptons Whodunit over the years, please know how sincerely grateful I am to have had the chance to work with you. It’s time for me to step away, but I am so truly grateful for this experience! Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to the crime fiction community in this capacity. It’s been an honor! // From Team Hamptons Whodunit: Hamptons Whodunit has been fortunate to have Abby Dunn as our Director of Fiction and Marketing since our founding four years ago. Abby has been instrumental in creating and managing our widely revered fiction program, bringing bestselling authors from around the world to participate in our festival. In addition to moderating our panels, she was responsible for creating our extremely popular Trivia Night and Murder Mystery Game, which allowed us to achieve our goal of executing an intimate and fun weekend for talent and attendees. Additionally, Abby crafted our social media campaigns and extended our reach to all corners of the globe. Although she is now stepping away to pursue different opportunities, we are grateful for her hard work and will always consider Abby part of the Hamptons Whodunit family. We wish her the best in her future endeavors. // 🖤

✨Behind every great mystery is an even greater team. Hamptons Whodunit doesn’t happen by accident—it takes vision, planning, late nights, a hundred moving pieces, and a whole lot of incredible people making it all come to life. To our founders, co-founders, honorary chair, assistants, volunteers, and everyone working behind the scenes—thank you. You’re the reason the panels run, the guests arrive, the events happen, and the magic feels effortless (even when we know it definitely isn’t). This weekend was unforgettable because of you! 💜 📸by @east27creative #Whodunit2026 #HamptonsWhodunit #truecrime #thrillerbooks #bookfestival

☕📚 Coffee, conversation, and a few great mysteries. Last Sunday’s @hamptonswhodunit @bookhampton Coffee Meet-and-Greet brought together readers, authors, and true crime experts for one of the most personal moments of the weekend. Guests had the chance to chat with featured fiction and true crime authors, get books signed, discover new reads, and of course - grab a coffee while doing it. A relaxed morning filled with great stories, great people, and the kind of conversations that make Hamptons Whodunit so special. Exactly how Sundays should be. #Whodunit2026 #HamptonsWhodunit #BookHampton #bookfestival #truecrime

💜 Well… that was a good time. To everyone who came out for Hamptons Whodunit—thank you for showing up, leaning in, asking questions, and fully embracing a weekend of crime, thrillers, and a little bit of chaos. You filled the rooms, packed the panels, and proved that discussing murder over coffee is, in fact, a totally normal social activity. To our authors, experts, and the crowd that made it all feel electric—we couldn’t have asked for better company. Same time next year? 📍 Hamptons Whodunit 📸 by @east27creative #Whodunit2026 #HamptonsWhodunit #truecrime #thrillerbooks #bookfestival
