@hamptonstechweek never misses.
The London Stopover took place at
@bafta on Monday and it was a great event.
Some thought provoking discussions about tech, AI (obviously), sport and culture took place and the networking around the event was incredible.
Highlights for me included:
figs jackman, Kyla Robinson and Nigel Stone discuss the role of film / movies over the next decade
@chrismvandusen , Dean Stott, MBE, Matt Auslam and Melissa Huttinger explore what an elite mindset is (when you’ve got two ex special forces, one with two world records, and folks with multiple exits under their belt, it’s worth listening)
Sitting down with
@dominniquekaretsos to discuss tech in women’s health and sexual health.
This discussion pushed into Dominnique’s charity work too with the anti trafficking organisation Blue Rose Foundation. I’m not easily shocked, but the scale of the problem and abuse it causes was genuinely horrific.
Well played
@ss9pm ,
@simonbailie , Gary and Sarah for putting on such a great event and having me as part of it.
Final thought: I’ve been on stage at BAFTA… that means I’m famous now, right?
