’ , , , ’ ! Milly look a different direction challenge level: impossible. But my jawline looks super sharp so maybe I’m okay with it? I definitely have “default face” and it’s one of the hardest things I have to get past in shoots! I often find when I’m told to emote, I emote wrong. My negative emotion faces still draw the corners of my mouth up which doesn’t read well on camera. This is why I’ll never be an actor. Fellow cosplayers, what do you struggle with the most in shoots? . Hearing the songs from the early Barbie movies still makes me so emotional, but particularly Princess and the Pauper. I think it spoke to little me in feeling trapped in a world I didn’t understand very well, and adult me wishes I could tell her why. I’m also especially susceptible now that I have a Wolfie (and Seraphina!) of my own Did you watch the Barbie movies growing up? If so, what’s your favourite? ${ | the story }Finishing off the row with more “story” photos (there’s still so much more where these photos came from, but I don’t want to post of them now!)I would like to think as a rogue that I spend all my time listening in and finding ways to dispatch people who deserved it, vigilante style. As someone who feels a bit helpless in the face of the enormity of the world’s grief, I think the idea of feeling capable of removing evil people in positions of power is my favourite form of escapism. If you were to choose a class for who are as a person, what would it be? What does that look like for you? When I was discussing “the vibes” I basically just said that I trusted Will’s vision, and it couldn’t have been better.The [REDACTED] in the sheaths were all 3D printed by War Factory as well. Cathedral details and sunflowers on a rogue set of armour is the most me this could possibly be and I love it so much. ${ | hidden in plain sight }I have been itching to share photos of this armour with you all for moooonths! I received it last year and my brain was depression pudding at the time, then it was too hot to wear it and now I can show you all how incredible this armour by @thewarfactoryau is!The leather patterns for the kidney belt, hip belt and handguards are currently available on his Etsy for all my crafty friends.Everything fits like a glove and I’m so grateful for the time that was taken with this set. The little details bring me such joy. Anyone who spends more than a couple of minutes chatting to me knows I’m a rogue main in basically every type of RPG and getting to see myself and not a character I made in an armour set like this is just magic.I’ll share all the tiny details of this set in the next post.
