as APAHM + Mental Health Awareness Month come to an end, we'd like to share our mental health directory for Asian Americans in Virginia! 🧠
it includes:
💓 Asian American mental health counselors in Northern Virginia, Central Virginia, & Hampton Roads (incl. specialties, languages, costs, insurances, etc)
💓 Asian American mental health-related resources (organizations, other directories, local treatment centers, hotlines, and more)
we hope that our directory can be a starting point for what can be difficult conversations, and that making mental health resources more accessible can help destigmatize this topic in Asian American communities. 🫂
this resource was a labor of love; please share it w/ your friends, family, & networks who might find it helpful.
collective care begins with each of us! 💞

We’re launching our Livable Life Campaign because people deserve more than just surviving.
Right now, people are working full-time and still struggling to afford rent, groceries, transportation, healthcare, education, and basic needs. Meanwhile billionaires keep getting richer while everyday people are expected to survive off scraps. That’s not sustainable — and it’s not dignified.
Through this campaign, we’ll be breaking down the real cost of living, sharing stories from our communities, and exposing how impossible it has become for working people to simply live. We’re fighting for a future where people can rest, create, raise families, pursue joy, and live with safety and dignity — not constantly worry about making it to the next paycheck.
Because survival is not enough.
We deserve housing.
We deserve healthcare.
We deserve time to rest.
We deserve joy.
We deserve a livable life.
Here’s a teaser of our Livable Life Campaign because our communities deserve more than burnout and survival.
Too many people are working long hours and still can’t afford rent, food, transportation, or time to breathe. That’s not what life should look like.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be breaking down the real cost of living, uplifting stories from our communities, and imagining a future where people can actually live — not just get by.
Because surviving paycheck to paycheck isn’t freedom.
We deserve rest, stability, joy, and a livable life.

Hamkae = Together 🌸
This AANHPI Heritage Month, we are celebrating our roots, culture and diverse language that shape our community by ensuring every neighbor has access to the resources they need.
We’re raising $5,000 to expand bilingual direct service and outreach to more AAPI communities and distribute 5-language graphic resource flyers (English, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Urdu) across the Commonwealth. The best part? Our board is pledge to match 1-to-1 up to $4,150. Your $25 becomes $50 and helps an immigrant mom and child received bilingual immigration legal assistance!
✨ DOUBLE your Impact. Together. ✨
