‘Airtel Na Bado Tunagrow’
They say you’re as good as your last job, and I think my last was great.
Writing, creative directing, scoring, and bringing it to life was a whole experience; this project really made me feel the weight of what it means to be a creative director. (I normally do, but this one was different 😮💨)
A mentally, emotionally and physically taxing project it was. Roots and fruits of labor as the primary school teachers used to say.
I wanted my art to imitate life and highlight the national conversation on university fees.
Proud to have done this one, proud of the team and crew that were part of making this happen and eventually made it one for the books.
That being said, I’m happy that this is my last telco brief for the unseeable future. 😂😂😂 Lord knows I’ve sold that industry to you from both the red and green corners every day since 2018 😂😂.
