Halter Ranch is the ONLY certified organic vineyard in the state of Texas. That alone sets them apart.
But here’s the thing — the wines are actually good. Both their California estate and Texas pours deliver. This isn’t a “go for the atmosphere, skip the wine” situation. You’re getting both.
We had the Texas Sparkling Rosé and the Estate Cab. Perfect warm day sipper and a solid red with real body. No complaints. No pesticides.
Then the burger. Texas Wagyu, Ancestor mustard, caramelized onions — on a GF bun for my wife that’s actually good. We’ve ordered it more than once. Enough said.
Atmosphere is modern, warm, and perfectly busy. Staff is welcoming. Casual enough to relax, sophisticated enough to impress.
This is for the person who cares about quality — in their glass and on their plate.
