“All racing brake fluids are the same.”
It’s one of motorsport’s most costly assumptions.
Because in the reality, brake fluids behave differently under extreme heat, pressure and race distance - and that difference shows up on track, and in lap times.
Halo P1 is a specialist racing brake fluid that gives drivers confidence to brake harder and later, with a pedal feel that stays consistent from lights out to chequered flag.
Ignore it if you like. Your competitors won’t.

Road America isn’t called “America’s National Park Speed” for nothing. To master those intense braking zones, we trust @halobyorthene . Their racing brake fluid provided the thermal stability and consistency we needed to push deeper into every turn, lap after lap.💪
In case you missed it 👀
Our Halo P1 Minute series explored a range of technical topics, but we wanted to highlight this clip of Lucca Ferrari talking through this brake master cylinder displacement and brake pressure using this graph.
A look into the detail behind braking performance and pedal feel.

Ciao Monza 🇮🇹 - where braking hits as hard as the racing is fast.
Today we’re exploring another demanding braking zone, this time at Monza, Italy, home to one of Formula 1’s most intense opening corners.
The Variante del Rettifilo (Turn 1–2) is a tight right-left chicane where drivers decelerate from over 350 km/h to around 70–90 km/h in under three seconds.
Positioned at the end of the main straight, it’s a prime overtaking opportunity, but with heavy braking, cold tyres, and a tightly packed field, it quickly becomes a high-risk, high-pressure moment, especially on lap one.
Precision is everything. With peak deceleration forces of up to 4.7G and extreme pedal loads, even the slightest misjudgement can mean lock-ups, contact, or a trip through the escape road.
In conditions like this, braking consistency is critical. A stable, low-compressibility brake fluid helps maintain confidence under pressure - right when it matters most.
Halo P1 delivers the control drivers need to brake later, stay composed, and navigate the chaos with confidence.

We talk a lot about how good Halo P1 is on track… but the detail doesn’t stop at the fluid.
The bottle pulls its weight too.
Made from 1050A/1070A grade aluminium, it’s tough, prevents moisture absorption, and blocks 100% of UV - all to keep the fluid inside exactly as it leaves the factory.
It’s also been drop-tested from 2 metres… over 100 times. So whether it’s bouncing around in transit or living trackside, it can take a hit.
In hotter race environments the aluminium keeps the fluid cool, while in colder environments the epoxy resin lining minimises any temperature differential effects - helping maintain fluid stability and quality, even in extreme conditions.
It’s not just what’s inside the bottle. It’s the bottle itself.

Under extreme braking loads… the difference with Halo P1 is tangible. Braking performance remains consistent and the pedal feel stays precise and progressive.”
Victor Derain, LMGT3 Race Engineer at @akkodisaspteam , shared how Halo P1 performs across demanding stints in the World Endurance Championship.
In endurance racing, consistency over time is everything. With Halo P1, the team experiences a firm, stable pedal without the need for frequent bleeding - even under sustained high loads.
The result is reliable braking performance, strong thermal resilience, and the confidence drivers need to maintain lap time consistency.

Today we’re exploring another challenging braking zone, this time we’re landing in Montreal, Canada, home to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, one of Formula 1’s most iconic braking zones 🇨🇦
Turn 10, known as L’Épingle, is a tight 180-degree hairpin where drivers shed massive speed, dropping from high-speed approach down to around 60 km/h in seconds.
It’s one of the track’s prime overtaking spots, with late braking, and full steering lock ahead of a long straight, combining to create relentless, close-quarters action.
But with heavy braking comes high risk. Lock-ups, run-offs, and race-defining moments are never far away, making precision and control key.
And, if that was not enough, calliper roll-back will hamper drivers all the way up the long straight, so a brake fluid with exceptionally low compressibility is a must.
Halo P1 delivers the confidence drivers need to brake later, rotate faster, and power out cleanly when every exit matters.

High performance is one thing. But are there any other benefits to Halo P1?
Halo P1 delivers consistency, confidence, control under pressure where it matters most, on track.
But its advantages don’t stop there.
Thanks to its high purity formulation, thermal stability and superior degassing properties, Halo P1 requires less bleeding. During a race weekend this means the team can spend more time on other tasks. This becomes particularly significant in endurance racing. It also means that over time, you use less brake fluid. In fact, last season one major team reported using 30% less fluid.
So better, more consistent braking performance, less time servicing the brakes and higher value for money.
Consistency. Confidence. Cost efficiency.
What more could you want from a brake fluid?

We were extremely impressed with the Halo P1 fluid… braking distances stay consistent with minimal fade, inspiring confidence to keep pushing in extreme conditions.”
Darren Law, Co-owner of @flyinglizard_ms , shared his experience after running Halo P1 after extensive back-to-back testing. The team saw improved braking performance, a firmer pedal feel at high temperatures, and consistent braking distances with minimal fade.
In high-pressure environments, confidence under braking is everything - and Halo P1 continues to deliver when it matters most.

We’re back with Dan Stafford, Chief Development Chemist, for another Halo P1 Minute - this time focusing on what keeps your braking response sharp under pressure.
In any braking system, everything comes down to how effectively force is transferred from pedal to calliper, and that’s entirely dependent on the brake fluid.
Halo P1’s highly purified formulation delivers a consistent chemical structure that resists compression, even in the most extreme conditions.
Resulting in a more direct, reliable braking response lap after lap, with performance that holds steady across a wide temperature range.
That’s the foundation of Halo P1’s Fade Resistant Technology.
