Stone by stone, we helped bring Gnien Santa Margerita back to life.
Porfido tiling and kerbing, local hardstone cladding and coping, and a striking plaque set into rough rock, all crafted and installed by our team for this beloved community garden in Mosta.

The regeneration of Vittoriosa's main square, brought to life with a harmonious blend of Red Travertine, Porfido and Granite by Halmann Vella, has been awarded a Special Mention at the prestigious Architizer A+ Awards, one of the world's largest architecture awards programmes.
The transformation reclaimed a car-dominated space and gave it back to the people, turning it into a vibrant, pedestrian-first public square that prioritises human interaction, accessibility and cultural continuity.
Another proud project delivered working alongside Antoine Zammit and the Studjurban team, whose vision reimagined one of Malta's most historic squares for generations to come.
As featured in Times of Malta.

Chronolith is a real success, and we could not be prouder.
What started as a vision of stone, light, and time is now standing at one of Milan’s most iconic courtyards, and the response has been everything.
If you’re at Milan Design Week, come and experience it for yourself. Chronolith is on show at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Cortile d’Onore, as part of INTERNI Materiae until 30 April.
This is what design feels like when it means something.
This week, we're in Milan 🇮🇹
Recobel, a Halmann Vella brand, took centre stage at INTERNI Materiae during Milan Design Week, collaborating with Daaa Haus to present Chronolith, a stunning pavilion exploring the poetry of stone, light, and time.
Representing Halmann Vella at the Università degli Studi di Milano are Director Mark Vella, Chief Commercial Officers Perit Hugh Vella and Owen Farrugia, proud to fly the Maltese flag at one of the world's most prestigious design events.
