We are currently seeking new Board Members to join our Board of Directors. Board Members play an essential part of the organization, helping to draft policies, seek sponsorships, join a committee, and help guide the organization into the future. Â

Please send us 1) a cover letter, telling us about yourself and why you'd like to join the Board and 2) a resume, detailing your experience. Both items can be sent via email to [email protected]. All applications will be reviewed by the Board, with a vote taking place during our AGM in June.Â

I made three carving knives. The blades were crafted by Xiangwu, highly experienced carving knife makers. I wanted the knives to reflect the character of greenwood carving, so I used fresh branches for the handles, shaping them while preserving some of the natural bark. The sheaths were made from bark and leather to maintain a consistent style。
I’ll bring them to the Halifax crafter this weekend. #jinscraft #greenwoodcarving #halifaxcrafter
