Just finished three day trip to Amsterdam that has been eight years in the making, also worth noting my first trip completely on my ones, it’s a huge achievement for someone who was “doomed to fail” before hitting 21.
I’ve also started to check out as many basketball courts possible to start seeing what 🏀 culture is like all over the world and will continue to do this on future trips, hopefully I’ll be able to dunk on a hoop somewhere across the world soon.
I can finally check Dam off the travel bucket list but honestly I need to come back soon, still so much I’ve yet to check out next time but until then, its time to get more work done 💪🏻

Progression and Growth are my main focuses 📈
…and learning to dunk.
Bit of a backstory why I’m learning to do this; dunking is what got me into basketball in the first place when I was little and it all stemmed from my Dad’s VHS tapes and one was of the Bulls vs Sonics 96’ Finals and I was fixated on it and a few basketball movies such as Like Mike and Space Jam, from the Shawn Kemp’s alley-oop’s to Vince Carter’s dunk contest I was in awe of their abilities.
I lost interest in bball further into my childhood but got back into it a few years ago after my LA trip when I saw the Clips v Mavs game, from then I got back into basketball fully and eventually lost 4 stone and become a lot healthier mainly from practicing shots and working on my vert.
Now I want to try and be able to land a slam dunk on my own terms but being only 6ft means I got more to work for but I believe I’ll get there fully soon with a full sized basketball and get to regulation height.

Slightly late but 28… crazy to think I’ve made this far despite the past few years I’ve had.
Despite the consistent anxiety, low moods and hellish memories that drained my self-esteem for so long, I’m feeling more optimistic and motivated than ever before to improve physically & mentally.
I feel blessed to still be breathing today and looking forward to whatever the future holds and I’m sure it’ll be positive and I’ll be jumping higher LITERALLY!

A childhood dream has come true and after many years I finally went to Los Angeles, California! Well heres the first of many photo and video dumps from my first trip to LA, I’ll have another photodump out in a few days.

I have to say what a hell of an adventure for my first US trip, celebrated my birthday abroad for the first time, saw the Hollywood sign twice on two hikes🚶🏻♂️, lived up the good vibes in the Hills, watched the @laclippers get a W at the Staples Centre 🏀 (f*ck the new crypto name haha), went @unistudios to see some T-Rex’s whilst sipping Butterbeers, and living out my childhood dream in Mariokart. 🏎️, I did also meet Weeman from Jackass but I somehow butchered the selfie so cant prove it 🤣🤣🤣
