I love this guy... he turns fort.. today wish @realshaunmurdock a happy birthday! We’ve enjoyed many a Player Monday Dinners. He officiated our wedding and danced with my wife all night! Day 58 WE WIN! It’s not done yet but two months of long days, hard work and obsession led to a great day. Thanks to my wife @bloodymvry for being tolerant of my project. Thanks to @robins_robin@vinnyzazz@stevekapella and @raddyhd for the muscle and @viciouscycles for the roof of my dreams and valve caps and door locks. Our friend Francisco, who we met at @oemboothrentals where we bought our paint, he painted the body and did the hard bondo work. @bernies_custom_glass for being a G and doing what he does! Thanks to @truckandcarshopoforange for taking my panic orders for parts. Thanks to @dreamershotrods who did the airbags a few years ago. My mom @tinaslifeisgood and @matthewthomas179 for not even eating a meal at my house this weekend and always letting my ride have a garage when it needed one in Seattle. Thanks to @sledvw who has always pushed me to do this and hasn’t always agreed on my direction. Thanks to everyone who has followed along and cheered us on. I have a plan for you soon to say thanks. Day 56 @vinnyzazz and @matthewthomas179 dialed in so much trim and it hasn’t been easy but it looks great now. Day 55 was real fun. Opening the doors with a handle for the first time in two months, seeing trim I’ve owned for 15 years and never put on, finally the antennas. We’re getting so close. Day 54 the fam came down and helped out! @tinaslifeisgood@matthewthomas179 have been along every step of the way for years. Couldn’t push towards the finish line without them. Do you know today’s date? Month/day numerically. Anyways I nearly forgot to post day 52. That’s cuz it involved me wetsanding until 3:30am last night and wasn’t all that picturesque. Day 51 hood, wheel well and cowl on. Wet sanding body clear coat. Everything doesn’t just go back together either. We wire wheel bolts springs, or modify parts to fit and paint them black before they go back on. The last pic is from Day 50. The paint tarp came down and a bittersweet memory came back. I’ve said out loud multiple times how much more fun this would be with @dave_frey around. @viciouscycles realized on day 50 that every ounce of paint on my car was pushed by an air hose that was Dave’s. Thanks for the help my brutha!
