“Girlhood” a piece I made on authentic ledger paper from 1907 using colored pencils, a little bit of acrylic paint, and some crayon as a throwback. The flowers on the side are about how, when we’re young, everything feels beautiful and full of wonder. The dress was my nahkoe’s from the 1970s, and I also danced in it in the 2000s, so it holds a lot of love and memory for me. 🤍🌷
