Hala Matar is a Bahraini film director. She recently completed her debut feature ELECTRA, starring Maria Bakalova, Jack Farthing, Abigail Cowen, and Daryl Wein.
Her work spans fashion films and commercials for Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Moncler, Marni, and Diesel, as well as music videos for Interpol and The Voidz.
She curated art exhibitions for Dries Van Noten's Los Angeles gallery Little House and has worked with internationally renowned artists including: Martin Creed, Ryan Gander, Madeline Hollander, Gohar World, Peter Shire, Darren Bader and Piero Golia.
