Rested up in Qatar for a couple days after Umrah, and managed to explore the Capital. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet here (no crowds at all) and the cleanliness of the whole city made my stay so relaxing!

The starters are always a hit with us, and what bring its all together is the in house Naga sauce 🔥 🌶️
Garlic Naan and Cheese and Tomatoe Naan (great for kids) come fresh to your table and Bengali classics such as Lotha and Eesa, Maas Biran and more can be made upon order int the live cooking station
The dessert selection is huge for Ramadan, from Banoofee pie, school cake, brownies, jelly, to freshly made waffles and pancakes.
There’s ample seating and staff are super attentive to make sure everyone’s Iftar goes smoothly - deffo one to attend with family ☺️

Marco Pierre’s Chophouse in Whitechapel are offering a wonderful 3 course Iftar meal during Ramadan, bringing forth flavour and chilled vibes!
You’re welcomed with a selection of stuffed dates and zam zam water, and starters include dips and bread with wings to open your fast, before you can dig into the likes of a Sirloin steak, Chimichurri chicken or Pan Roast Salmon for your mains, each cooked to perfection.
For desserts we have the options of Forest Fruit Crumble and Om Ali, but the Gulab Jamun Tiramisu stole the show for us, loved every bite!

£19 Steak and Chips have arrived at North London, with the most buttery and cream sauce that makes every bite so juicy and makes you go back for more!
We actually loved the Chicken here the most, as it was surprisingly bursting with juicy goodness and sooo tender, with light organic flavours coming through which paired perfectly with the sauce.
The other two options are sirloin and ribeye, which are cooked perfectly medium rare and you can’t really fault for the price.
Only note would be the chips could just do with a bit of rosemary season etc to really take the meal home.
Also the viral Vanilla Banana Pudding is also served here, and wowww I think has to be a top dessert for me just due to the lightness and freshness coming through.
Deffo recommend!

Finally a smash burger branch has opened in King Cross, and Smoke & Pepper are bringing it to the table!
The smash burger pattys are perfectly juicy with a good fat ratio, and firm buns, and come in a range of flavours - very very good burgers!
Rice box is miles ahead of pepes, with a banging chicken selection from half chicken, to crispy tenders, and cannot forget the dessert selection, from the Bruce cake to Dubai Chocolate dream cake - seriously spoilt for choice, and each item just hit the spot for us.
The Flying Dutchman was a bit too messy for me, but I can see the appeal.
Super impressed with the quality and flavours, and so happy this is so close to home!
