Dear friends, colleagues, musicians and producers.
With the coronavirus situation exacerbating around the world, we hope you are all well, safe and most importantly indoors when possible.
That being said, we at HAL5 Studio have been busy – well, our Head of Development – Vasco Guedes () – has been busy! And we felt that now would be a good time to release this free to use creative tool in order to make our quarantine a bit more productive and bearable.
We call it Progressing.
Progressing is a chord exploration tool that goes beyond creating the standard minor and major chords. Using MIDI and working on Ableton with Max, this is a great way to develop an understanding of music theory and then throw the rules out the window and create all kinds of interesting chord formations with extreme ease.
