“While a person was walking in a cloak with self-conceit, his hair well-combed, he was swallowed by the earth and he would remain sinking in it until the Day of Resurrection.” — Sahih Muslim 2088 Imam al-Nawawi رحمه الله explained that this hadith warns against arrogance, self-admiration, and looking down on others — not against dressing well or being neat. True humility is beloved to Allah. Follow @hadith_echo_ for more authentic Islamic reminders. #Islam #Hadith #IslamicReminder #Muslim #Deen

“Travel is a piece of torment. It deprives one of you of his food, drink, and sleep. So when one of you fulfills the purpose for which he traveled, let him hasten back to his family.” Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Sahih al-Bukhari 1804 | Sahih Muslim 1927 According to Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani in Fath al-Bari, the hadith means that travel naturally brings hardship, discomfort, fatigue, and separation from normal ease and family comfort — not that travel is sinful. A beautiful Sunnah connected to the days of Dhul-Hijjah The Prophet ﷺ instructed the one intending to offer Qurbani not to remove hair or nails until the sacrifice is completed. Scholars differed whether this is obligatory or recommended, but all agreed it is a practice connected to honoring these sacred days. May Allah accept our sacrifices, worship, and good deeds. “Trust doesn’t disappear overnight… it fades—until honesty becomes rare.” The Prophet ﷺ warned us that a time will come when trust will slowly be removed from people’s hearts, until finding a trustworthy person becomes difficult. Scholars like Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani explain that this decline begins within the heart—and eventually spreads through society. “Beware of suspicion… it destroys hearts before relationships.” The Prophet ﷺ taught us that الإسلام is not just about actions—but also about what we think and feel about others. As explained by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, this hadith warns against both hidden sins of the heart and harmful actions, because a strong Ummah is built on trust, love, and unity. Struggling to read the Qur’an? Don’t give up. The Prophet ﷺ, Muhammad, taught us that even if you stammer or find it difficult, you receive double reward. Allah sees your effort. Every letter counts. Every struggle is rewarded. Keep going. Keep reciting. This hadith from Sahih Muslim teaches a complete way of life: Purification strengthens your faith. “Alhamdulillah” fills your scale. “SubhanAllah” fills the space between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is your light. Charity is the proof of your belief. Patience shines through every hardship. And the Qur’an… will either speak for you or against you. Choose your path wisely.
