@bowsandarrowsberkeley new Fourth Street shop, centers around a series of large display pieces in a mass timber bench, solid Douglas Fir shelving, sandblasted steel rails, granite boulders, and plaster blocks, all created in collaboration with local Bay Area craftspeople and artisans.
The raw materiality and craftsmanship of these elements reflect the tactile honesty and attention to detail found in the clothing and objects throughout the shop.
At the back of the store a thickened wall peels away to form the fitting rooms, tilting to gently to allow natural light to wash the space from the skylight above.
