Shot this spot for Spectrum featuring Billy Magnussen of The Audacity. We created the behind the scenes set solely for this commercial. It always feels a little strange building a set of just the backside of a set. I needed a large ambient source since the action was covering a decent amount of ground in a Steadicam shot. Shot this Spectrum commercial in NY at a great location in Brooklyn. The spot required two different looks which were fun to create. One look was the âin cameraâ look and one was an âon the setâ look. LC and JDM were a pleasure to work with as always. Lots of mixed color light and natural light in a great space. Todayâs ride in the desert mountains west of Vegas is definitely in my top 5 rides of all time. Great trail and riding through the desert while it was snowing was unforgettable. Will never forget the feeling of riding this trail today. #vegas #mtb
Beautiful day of riding trails in West Las Vegas. 20 mile loop was flowy and fast with some nice descents. It snowed for about an hour of the ride. I think itâs rare to get snow at this low elevation but the snow covered mountain views were unbeatable.
Sometimes itâs more fun to shoot with a small and nimble crew - you can cover more ground, film more locations, and capture more shots when the ship can be turned easily. With a solid plan centered around shooting at the right place during the right time itâs possible to get great looking shots with fewer resources. Iâm grateful for the highly skilled technicians on my crew who know how to do things right the first time with an efficiency and precision that lets us move fast in a decisive way.
