Dorset Divide 2025 ❤️
542km in 38h 48m — 🥇 first woman back, 11th overall.
Definitely had some moments on this one. The route was stunning but my god the 100km(ish) between CP2 and Lyme Regis was brutal — big love to Harry at @dorset_divide for putting on such a great event.
The rollercoaster:

⬆️ Spinning around some unknown towns with Tony
⬆️ Flowing through Moors Valley with Jules and Vlad
⬇️ Too many wrong turns (including riding the Hovis Hill twice…)
⬇️ Chatting to a thistle (thinking it was a deer)
↔️ 25-minute bench nap
⬆️ Riding the early hours of the morning with Annie
⬆️ A floor Squares bar, kindly but unknowingly dropped by Ross
⬇️ Forgetting how to ride a bike
↔️ Jakob showing up mid-hill meltdown with a few kind words

⬆️⬆️ Post-ride swim, sauna and breakfasts with some brilliant people
Wouldn't change a thing — though I might pack some chamois cream next time 🤦♀️
A few moments from the HT550. I've a broken wheel, I can't stop eating, my ankles are destroyed and my skin looks like I've got some form of leprosy, but that was just the best.
The route went through some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen and as always on these things, I met some amazing people. I feel so lucky to have had this experience and I hope @ht550alan will have me back!

Our first week in Girona has come to an end and I'm reminiscing on how fortunate I've been to spend time with such an incredible group of women.
Each one of these ladies has their own inspiring story and it's been amazing to ride over some beautiful gravel whilst watching everyone sharing and learning skills, listening to a chorus of "weeee", "whooopp" and "wahoooo" when you hit a section of single track, and seeing everyone's confidence grow over the week.
Topped off by a full on adventure recce back to Girona with @helebridg to watch the @jelenew_official Amstel Gold Femmes watch party with a great turn out of people campaigning for more media coverage of women's racing.

Dales Divide round 2! (Ft Dave)

I can’t say this one started with all smiles. My head game on day one was completely off, and I spent the majority of the day thinking about scratching, questioning my gear choices, taking two reasonably significant crashes, struggling with saddle sores, dealing with general life stress and riding without a back brake (wrong rotor 😬).
I decided to just ride to York, trying to ignore the niggles by enjoying the company of other riders passing by, where I could grab a hotel and likely scratch from there…
Thankfully, no hotel would have me when I rocked up in York at 3am on Easter Saturday. So, I figured I may as well push on to Scarborough, grab a pick-me-up cream tea from The Cheeky Squirrel in Driffield (a highlight from last year), check in on Storm Dave, and see how I felt.
By Scarborough, I’d finally got my smiles back and decided to carry on. I’m so glad I did, as yet again this year I got to ride with some incredible people, make some new core memories, eat some great food, and take in some great views… the storm just added to the atmosphere.
I feel reset. My butt now hates me, I've learnt a lot and I need to reconsider my setup… Hoping to be fully recovered and better prepared for the HT550 in five weeks! 👀
