Pune stood tall this weekend, joining the nation to voice an urgent plea: Compassion Over Cruelty.
It was more than a protest—it was a collective awakening. We walked in large numbers, not for ourselves, but for the community dogs who rely on our humanity. The spirit, the determination, the sheer love in the crowd—it was powerful.
Every placard, every chant, was a promise: We see you. We love you. We will fight for your right to live.

Getting back on the pole with more awareness and gratitude.
There are a surprisingly only few times (lol) that I felt I’ve been extremely stupid and around a month ago when I slipped from the pole at home was one of them. My main regret is the precaution I failed to exercise when I practiced on my home pole despite everything I’ve learnt about practicing safely in class (having a watchful teacher (our selfless guiding light @nupurpoleart ), spotters on cue (special shout out @mads_aura_polefit who never lets me fall), crash-mats, ventilation).
But this incident also made me realise I’m the luckiest version of myself in 2024, I got away with almost nothing and the immediate help I got from @puneriraavan and continuous support I got from my family, friends, coaches was just everything (ofc lots of jokes were had at my expense).
tl;dr If you have a pole at home, invest in a crash mat! My fall would’ve been filed ‘business as usual’ if I had one. I usually wouldn’t babble about something like this but if this urges a fellow poler to invest in a safer home set up, my job is here is done :)
