Goodbye Grandpa… I love you so much, and I will miss you. I’m so sorry and heart broken no one could be there with you when you passed. I really wanted to see you in person to say my goodbyes…But I take some small comfort knowing that you lived a wonderful and full 97 years of life. You were a tough old bird and fiercely independent to a fault even until the end. I will forever miss your letters, talking with you, going out to Zippys, and cherish the memories of visiting you here in California as a kid. Rest in Peace Grandpa. I love you
