We had some really good fisherman on board today. Picked away at some real quality fish in every area we hit. Lost a few heartbreakers as well. Definitely had to work for them, but the size of most keepers is rewarding. Quite a few in the 3 to 5 lb range. Justin from PA took down the pool with a 7 lb fish, to go along with his limit. Nice job!

Had Arlan, Alan and George out for yesterday mornings charter. Fishing was slower than its been but the guys managed to pick away at them all morning until they started biting pretty well. That ended quickly though as the died dropped out but still managed a bunch of fish by that time. True gentleman on board, was a pleasure having them out ! Everything caught on live bait !

Gypsea II FLUKE - Fish to 10 lbs!
After lots and lots of searching the last few days, we finally stumbled upon a nice pile of fish early morning. Picked away at nice keepers most of the morning with many in the 4 to 6 lb range. Once that died we looked around and picked a few more everywhere we went. As is the norm this time of year, the fish are nice sized but you really have to work for them. As the water warms, more and more fish flood into the area and start biting. Spring is always your best bet to nail a jumbo! Big congrats to our buddy Daniel on his first local DD, well deserved! Pick a nice day and come on out to catch your personal bests.

Few more bass trips aboard the Little Gypsea. Yesterday morning had Stefano and the boys on the fish once the tide turned. Caught what we needed with lots of releases before making a few fluke drifts. Few shorts is all we saw before the sky opened up and we called it a day.
Today's bite was very slow as we couldn't get them to eat for most of the morning. Capt Joey and Dillon went for a hail Mary, and boy did it work out! Savage bite to end the day with a bunch of slots and some of the largest fish we have seen this spring. Thanks for sticking it out, guys!

Incredible bass fishing continues! Had Nino and coworkers from the 105th precinct aboard today. What an awesome group! Got the bait nice and early and the boys went to work!
