growing up, cars were always around me, so it was natural for me to fall in love with them.
most kids grew up idealising supercars like ferrari, lambo etc⦠but for me there has always been one brand that has been with me ever since my childhood, Subaru. not because of me, but because of my dad
@joshsubie . heās always been a car guy, especially into Subaru, and without even realising it, I slowly got pulled into cars through him.
Subaru isnāt a brand that tries to impress everyone. It has its own character. the kind that you need to experience for yourself to truly understand its worth. for me, I grew up with it. from the comfort it brought to me during endless road trips when I was younger to now late night drives alone, it has become part of my lifestyle.
this isnāt a car that gives you all the artificial stuff but the way it drives, the way it feels planted, the comfort, the practicality. itās something you can live with daily drives. Itās not something you can just judge from the outside & most car enthusiasts would feel the same way.
for me, Subaru is just like a human being. It gets judged without people really knowing it. not everyone will see the value in what you believe in, not everyone will share the same vision, and not everyone will understand your choices, but there will always be people who get it, the ones who appreciate it for what it is & this describes people too.
overtime, it stopped being ājust a brandā, it became something that means a lot to me. thereās something my dad used to always say āonce a Subaru owner, you will always be a Subaru owner.ā I didnāt understand it back then but now I do.
and maybe this is the reason why i chose BRZ over the 86??
sometimes we gotta learn how to let go isnāt it?
last, Subaru taught me one thing. āthere will always be people hating but itās about staying true to what you believed in.ā
we still learning, still growing.
