🐦 GVSU Bird of the Week: Kirtland’s Warbler 🐦
The Kirtland’s Warbler (seen here celebrating our Grand Valley grads) is a Michigan native, breeding almost exclusively in the state! Keep an eye out for this small rare bird in mid-May when they begin making their nests on forest floors. This Kirtland's Warbler is celebrating the Class of 2026 this weekend! 🎓💙
