Welcomed by Carole Marx and Guy Wolff, the Grand Ducal Couple discovered Spektrum’s teams, artists, and featured projects.
In the cultural space, the Grand Duchess explored Oto’s Planet and enjoyed an interactive virtual reality experience, presented by director Gwen François @gwenael_francois , producer Julien Becker @julien_becker_skill_lab , and Sarah Bamberg from the Luxembourg Film Fund.
At the science and technology stand, Guy Wolff @guywolff , Director of Spektrum, welcomed Grand Duke Guillaume, Minister Gilles Roth @gillesroth_ , Chamber President Claude Wiseler @claude.wiseler , and Mayor Christian Weis @chrescht_weis . « Fragments of Future » — now on view at Spektrum
Fragments of Future immerses visitors in a constellation of digital worlds where light, sound, gesture, and technology merge into new artistic forms. Across virtual reality, 3D-printed sculptures, voxel landscapes, electronic sound, and interactive installations, the exhibition explores how digital tools reshape imagination, memory, and embodied experience.
Bringing together artists from Luxembourg, France, Germany, and Belgium, the exhibition reveals how today’s digital practices can generate poetic, playful, and experimental visions of tomorrow. From immersive light–sound environments to AI-generated narratives and architectural VR spaces, each work opens a different window onto a future shaped by human and artificial creativity.
Featuring works by:
Yliana Paolini · Ommery de Zutter · Christophe Tritz · Snejana Granatkina · Menny Olinger · Jessica Theis · François Schwamborn · Pit Molling
The exhibition spans multiple rooms of Spektrum — including Studio³ and the surrounding spaces — guiding visitors through shifting atmospheres: luminous, sonic, virtual, tactile, and interactive. Each artist offers a distinct approach to the intersection of technology and emotion, inviting audiences not just to observe but to experience digital art as a living, dynamic process.
