Die iranische Filmemacherin Mahnaz Mohammadi war mehrfach inhaftiert für ihren Widerstand gegen das Mullah-Regime. Für sie entsteht Hoffnung durch Handeln im Hier und Jetzt. In dem Stück HOPE spielt der niederländische Theatermacher Guy Weizman mit seiner Truppe NITE verschiedene Szenarien der Hoffnung durch. Für Künstler Tomás Saraceno heißt Hoffnung handeln, Gemeinschaft stärken, Untergangserzählungen kreativ entgegentreten. Der Musiker Anatole Muster macht das hörbar: Sein Album Hopecore erzeugt Leichtigkeit, ohne die Schwere zu leugnen. Das Street-Art-Duo Various & Gould trägt Hoffnung in die Stadt, mit bunten Murals für Vielfalt und Solidarität.

Gisteren werd de Jiří Kylián Ring voor de 11e keer uitgereikt. Tijdens de opening van de 20e editie van @hollanddancefestival gaf Paul Bronkhorst de ring door. Hij gaf deze aan @guyweizman & @ronihaver van @club.guy.and.roni en @nite.ensemble

The winners of the Jiří Kylián Ring 2026 — Guy Weizman & Roni Haver! Yesterday, during the opening of the 20th Jubilee Edition of HDF the Jiří Kylián Ring was awarded for the eleventh time. This year, Paul Bronkhorst presented the award to the choreographic duo @guyweizman & @ronihaver for their significant contribution to dance.
Club Guy & Roni @club.guy.and.roni is an international dance company founded in 2002 in the city of Groningen, the Netherlands, that continuously works to push the boundaries of contemporary dance. Their work is bold, energetic, and deeply emotional — a truly immersive experience.
The Jiří Kylián Ring is a joint initiative of @hollanddancefestival , Nederlandse Dansdagen, and the Kylián Foundation.
