Better late than never!
2 weeks ago today we hosted a second collaboration with 303 Alliance records and it was a special one. Bringing two true pioneers of underground UK Techno to Sheffield (alongside lots of other talented artists/djs) will live long in the memory.
Sorry to anyone who couldn’t make it. We will consider increasing capacity in future.
Thank you to everyone involved!
Big love 🤍

Tonight’s the night!
We’re joining 303 Alliance Records at Southbank Warehouse from 10pm! Set times are in the second slide.
Most importantly, below is our safe space policy. Following it is mandatory, and we take it very seriously. Please take the time to read it:
SAFE SPACE POLICY:
Alto is a loving, open-minded space for everyone to dance, have fun, and be themselves without judgment.
Our Core Expectations:
Zero-Tolerance for Harassment & Discrimination: Racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, ableism, or any prejudice based on identity will not be tolerated. If you engage in unwanted behaviour, you will be asked to leave.
Consent is Non-Negotiable: No unwanted touching. Always ensure you have clear, enthusiastic consent before any physical contact. No Means No.
Need Help?
If you feel threatened, disrespected, or unwell at any point:
Find an Alto or 303 Alliance crew member: Southbank’s staff will be aware of who we are, with point of contact being at the bar. The staff or crew member will quietly remove you from the situation with a designated safe and address the issue privately and safely.

With just 2 days to go until 303 Alliance and Alto join forces, we have our final artist write up with two proper special artists!
** AARON LIBERATOR: is a true underground Techno pioneer, one-third of the legendary Liberator crew, and co-owner of the mighty Stay Up Forever record label!
The Liberators came up through the squat and festival rave scene, as championed by Spiral Tribe in the early Nineties. Appearances at Castle Morton and the very first French Teknival, plus weekly sets at London squat parties lead to regular appearances at seminal club nights. These appearances helped to cement their reputation as renowned DJs with their eclectic mix of Detroit, Belgium and German techno, combined with their very own take on techno that was later to become Acid Techno.
The Stay Up Forever record label came from this time, with the popularity of the label gave Aaron a long DJ career spanning the globe from Brazil to Japan, with many countries in between. Aaron is still at the heart of the label and is currently concentrating on a residency called Rebel Union at Fold in London.
** GUY ‘THE GEEZER’ MCAFFER: is an originator of the London Techno sound with over 2,500 releases under his belt. Over the past 20+ years he has shaped the sound of the underground and there is not an Acid Techno DJ without his tracks in there bag.
He has championed this sound alongside Chris Liberator, DDR, Ant, Rackitt, D.A.V.E. The Drummer and the rest of the SUF crew, as well as far too many other legendary labels to mention.
His live sets are consistently received ecstatically across the world, from Japan to Venezuela- and this Friday in Sheffield!
