We invite you to participate in the art lab Multispecies Attunement: fungi. This art lab will take place on the 9th of May at Jardim Botânico, at 14:30. You can find a path to the area on the next photo. Participation is free and open to everyone, with no need for previous experience. The exercises are based on simple slow movements to connect with our bodies, the living environment, and hopefully with this species of fungi. We will play with our attention, internally and externally, to foster a sensorial attunement through embodied listening, slow movement, sound and touch. We also draw, journal and share to amplify the scope of this experience, creating a space to slow down and listen to the invisible networks of the forest. This Lab is part of PhD research, as such we are going to collect bodily information’s from some of you, such as heart rate and oxygen intake, with a Fitbit watch to understand how this practice affects your physiology.  The session will be in English. Muy contenta de haber participado en el Festival Semibreve con la obra “Ecologías Micro Minerales” durante el mes de Octubre. Esta instalación exhibe procesos biológicos de recuperación de litio de baterías usadas con bacterias extremófilas al interior de esculturas de vidrio. Estos procesos fueran realizados con la colaboración de los doctores en biología Andrea Jara y Francisco Remonsellez @anillo_lithium_bior y sonificados en tiempo real gracias a la colaboración con el artista sonoro Guy Fleisher @guyfleisher Agradezco a todo el equipo de Semibreve, y a la Escuela de Arte de la Universidade Católica Portuguesa por la oportunidad de desarrollar este lindo proyecto.

Grateful for the opportunity to showcase at Semibreve festival 2025 in Braga, alongside talented colleagues!  A collaboration with Isidora Correa for the project Micro Mining Ecologies, part of her research for the PhD at Universidade católica portuguesa, school of arts, CITAR. This project explores the material and environmental implications of sustainable energy.
