Our association with Joel Silbersher (God / Hoss) goes back to 1989 and the production of the God album For Lovers Only. Our relationship with Mick Turner goes back even further as the live agent for Venom P Stinger followed by Dirty Three and others. And our friendship with Guy Maddison occurred at a similar time when he arrived from Perth with his band Greenhouse Effect before joining Munroes Fur, Lubricated Goat and eventually Mudhoney.
It seems only natural then that when all three decided to join forces along side drummer Claire Birchall (Smoked Salmon / Paper Planes) to form @fancyweapon - Melbourne’s newest supergroup and Turner’s 5th currently active outfit - that Feel Presents would represent them on the live circuit. Live dates will be announced soon but today we have the pleasure of introducing ’Squid’ the first single from their eponymous debut and what will be one of the albums of the year out June 19 on @poisoncity A band co-write, this one you will have on repeat. That's a promise.
Viva Espana, Mudhoney continue to eat , drink and rock our way though this grand land. Here's some footage of wonderful La Caruna, a great show was had by all here last night. Tonight Madrid, tomorrow Barcelona. We hope to see y'all there.
