This was the first cloud picture I made that started the Cumulus series off, quite a few years ago now.
I photocopied this cloud from the background of another picture I had taken, and then copied it over and over until I had an A0 sized image that was grainy, hazy, and broken up. I loved how this mirrored the disintegration of clouds as they move, and it got me thinking about impermanence and loss again - which is what my first book ‘Almost’ was all about.
The Special Edition of Cumulus (1/15) comes with a 5x7” giclée print of this cloud picture, on beautiful textured rag paper.
