When the fog rolls in... the terror begins! 🖤 John Carpenter’s THE FOG celebrated its 46th Anniversary this year. It released in theaters February 1st 1980. Local legend tells of a ship lured on to the rocks of Antonio Bay being enveloped by a supernatural cloud as it sank; the myth says that when this mysterious fog returns, the victims will rise up from the depths seeking vengeance. 🖤 This is one of my favorite John Carpenter films as also one of my favorite ghostly zombie pirate movies! So of course I had to have this incredible Shaka Wear Tee from @guttergarbs !! The artwork is INSANE!! You need one in your closet now! Capitan Blake will thank you! 🖤 Fun Facts: Although this was essentially a low budget independent movie, John Carpenter chose to shoot the movie in anamorphic widescreen Panavision. This decision gave the movie a grander feel for the viewer so it didn’t seem like a low budget horror movie. 🖤 The lead ghost, Blake, was played by special effects artist Rob Bottin.
