I loved milling about during the interval & hearing audiences reaction to the show, & this number especially.
It was the first song I wrote for Pieces & remains its heartbeat. If ever I got stuck during rewrites I’d always return to this number to remind myself of what I was hoping to say.
Feel forever blessed to have such extraordinary performers bringing these characters to life, with the most astounding creative team pulling the strings (excuse the pun) to make it all come together.
