a real studio rat

putting up some mics
in just the right places
had patience
with two annoying swedes
as well as
letting us in on
some secret studio magic tricks
that I won’t reveal here
but to keep it simple
he recorded the drums
and they sound
really really good

and for being a fantastic friend

that she made come alive like nothing else

lended her unearthly talent
to my little album
angelic and magical
backup vocals
making the piano come alive
in all sorts of ways
also
adding little mysterious
weird sounds
here and there
and man do I love that stuff
with my economy

and some kinda round wooden thingies
covered with skin

but this guy does
and not only that
we spent countless hours
frowning together
trying to make sense
how the pieces
of this soundpuzzle
would fit together
(a.k.a mixing my new album)
and we figured it out

the last years
I have been thinking

about what I enjoy doing
with my life
and music
is high on the list

I am not that interested in touring
anymore
I just want to make music
and send it out
into the universe
for everyone to enjoy
