PS: Gus’s dad died of cancer last year and Gus asked me to read a poem at his dad’s hometown service. It was the honour of a lifetime. Everyone is proud of you bud. We’re all better people when in your orbit. Thank you. Really.

When my sister Connie died I needed to sit next to my bestie Gus at Con’s funeral. There was never a choice. I couldn’t sit anywhere else.

The Artbox is a mobile Gallery/art space designed to shine a light on local artists within the shire of Strathbogie. I have a handful of selected paintings sitting alongside local artist- printmaker Angus Cameron’s wonderful collagraph prints. The collection of works will be on display until the 24th March.
