Through the lived experiences of migration and the happenings of urban regeneration, it is thoughts on how we react to changes over time, what we can carry with us and what we have left behind.Feature track : ‘Seeds of Tomorrow’ is a mellow drive through thoughts with a broken groove constructed with drum machine, djembe and shaker. Growing synths and bassline from the analogue devices keep your head nodding and feet moving. Additional remix by the mighty @knopha who comes through with a dubby atmospheric 4/4 feel. Through the lived experiences of migration and the happenings of urban regeneration, it is thoughts on how we react to changes over time, what we can carry with us and what we have left behind.‘Don’t Forget Your Hiss’, a funky dusty groove built around the repeated phrase ‘带走我的’ gradually unfolds into ‘带走我和你的故事’ meaning ‘bring along the stories of yours and mine’.Guohan has been quietly honing his craft, and it’s no surprise that his music has received support and praise from the likes of Shy one, Osunlade, Paul Camo, Mr Scruff and John Gomez. Still remember the first time I sent my music to @funk_bstrd and how naturally we connected after that.
