Am Sonntag, d. 22.März, geht mit einer Finissage die Ausstellung "milky way", der erste Teil des Ausstellungsprojektes zwischen dem "Kunstverein Familie Montez" @montez.ffm und dem "Milchhof-Berlin" (), von dem der "Milchhofpavillion" betrieben wird @pavillionammilchhof zu Ende. Über 30 Berliner und mehr als 20 Frankfurter Künstlerinnen und Künstlern sind an dem Projekt beteiligt. Durch die Bekanntheit des KVFM und der Vielzahl an kulturellen Veranstaltungen, die parallel zur Ausstellungsdauer im an die Ausstellungsräume angrenzenden Café stattfanden, war es möglich, mit dieser ersten Ausstellung eine ungewöhnlich hohe Anzahl an Besuchern zu erreichen, die selbst von mittelgroßen kommunalen Galerien in Berlin selten erreicht wird. #contemporaryartfrankfurt #contemporaryartberlin

The exhibition is based on the principle of the Cadavre Exquis, or “exquisite corpse.” We begin with a randomly selected image. The next participant, guided only by a written description and a nar- row strip of the image, contributes a new piece. In this way, the exhibition evolves work by work. While the added contributions will primarily consist of photographs, they may also include works from other disciplines or interpretations of the photographic medium. The result is a spatial Cadavre Exquis, a photographic installation that creates a cohesive overall image. A surreal landscape that invites the audience to not only engage with the existing elements but also to imagine what lies in the gaps. Here, images merge and media become intertwined, offering viewers a fresh exploration of the medium of photography.
