Last summer I got to play a really cool role in @atribecalledlovemovieofficial . It’s the first Canadian feature written and directed by a Somali-Canadian and I feel so happy that I got to be a part of this. The whole process from start to finish was amazing. I played alongside seasoned vets and got to witness so many talented Somali actors make their on-screen debuts. Truly magical ✨
Projects that showcase untold stories sometimes require a little extra love, and we’re trying to get the film across the finish line so we’ve launched an Indiegogo campaign to help us wrap post-production and get it on the big screen. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!

Last year I got to play the charming Lloyd in this wonderful short written and directed by the amazing @fateemasaurus . It was my first proper dramatic role and I truly couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Playing opposite @itsmostafashaker was a real treat and the crew were a peach.
