Photoshoot with Guilty Pulse members? Finishing up our Ciel Row with a shot of our walking spoiler! Do you know him, or did we just cosplay the same character? 🩵 The last bits of close ups on these costumes are highlighting the hats and the shoes we made for these cosplays. Remember me mentioning the blueberries last post? Well, there they are, on the hat! The little blueberry hats were the whole reason that we ended up settling on these costumes because they are so cute. The whole hat itself was made from scratch as well, shaped into a tophat shape with a homemade hat block with all the details sew on by hand. The famous blueberries themselves were resin cast and custom made for these looks! A new fun element of making for us was the shoes we are wearing for these costumes. Our first dip into cobbling, we made both pairs completely from scratch from the insoles, the uppers, and the outsoles they were a labor of love! We even made the buckles ourselves out of resin! Check your eyes, are you seeing double? 🩵💙 A better look at both of the Phantomhive Twins as well as a fantastic front view of the costumes. A benefit to cosplaying twins who wear the exact same outfit is that during the construction process everything only had to be patterned one time. A stark difference to some of the competition pieces we have made recently that vary per cosplayer. For this close up, we have a nice highlight on the gloves, cuffs, and ascots on the costumes. Do you ever fancy making plain, black gloves? Well, we do. Luckily we found a local leather supplier that had the perfect sheepskin for these. If you take a look at the cuffs you can see that multiple laces were stacked together to get the look we wanted. Subtle gems were placed on the cuff as well to give it a sparkle without looking to ostentatious. The ascots were also a Frankenstein project of a bunch of different lace to give it its elegant and expensive look, finished off with the cutest little bows. One of the things that made us want to do this project was just the most subtle color pops that distinguished which twin was which. Sharing something a little different to the page this week. 💙 We've always had a hand in competition cosplay since we formed GP, so we figured we would share a couple of detail shots from our last competitive pieces that we did as a group. Tandy (pictured above) and Monica worked together this last fall and winter on a nostalgia project of the Phantomhive Twins from Black Butler. Their goal was to make every part of the costume from scratch and that they did! These two particular shots really highlight the back portion of the outfit, including the beautifully large butt bows. If you take a look, there are three layers of skirts on top of the shorts and the upper black skirt has a wonderful fringe trim that was all sewed on my hand. The pearls were all also hand strung and gems are made of custom dyed resin! Its a shame that these two didnt get a duet together in the actual Alien Stage competition itself, even though Wiege is such a beautiful song. We couldn't let these two be left out, though, so Tandy and Rama did some very beautiful yearning choreography at the end of Ruler of My Heart in our Alien Stage set at Awa. Monica and Kelsie specifically chose to wear the Cure outfits for our Alien Stage just so that they would match, and the contrasting monochrome looks so good together. Starting off strong, we have our two beautiful, tragic lovers Mizi and Sua. And they are here today with an amazing announcement: our full Awaien Stage performance will be coming out on April 3, 2026!
