A new doc on the science, ethics, and real-world impact of psilocybin therapy, exploring everything from trauma and depression to end-of-life care through a visually immersive, art-driven lens. KEY TOPICS: Heroic Dosing, Micro dosing, Veteran use, PTSD, Depression, End-of-life care, suicide, ethics, bad trips, ego death, the process, what does a trip feel like, testing history, costs of treatment, indigenous history, reciprocity, the science, total psilocin content, legality, hopes and fears for the future of the industry.   THE HEART: The strength of this documentary comes from the cross section of interviews that we conducted. Speaking with representatives from both the legal and underground practice, we held interviews with patients, veterans, facilitators, cultivators, therapists, ethicists, scientists, law-makers and end-of-life care practitioners. Across these 21 interviews we found the overlapping thoughts in the editing room to present a snapshot of what this therapy is, where it’s had success and where the industry is going.   AIM: Harm reduction and understanding.

THE LAST ONE FOR THE ROAD May 16 thru 18 Sat to Mon 3:30, 7:45 Dir. Francesco Sossai - 2026 - 100m - Italy - In Italian with English subtitles - Valid for Punch Cards The much nominated Italian drinking buddies in the Venetian countryside crime dramedy! 16 DAVID DI DONATELLO (ITALIAN OSCAR) NOMINATIONS! The bottom has fallen out for Carlobianchi and Doriano, two small-time Italian crooks. They haven’t been able to mount an honest scam since the 2008 financial crisis and now face the impending mediocrity of middle age. The return of an exiled partner-in-crime from Argentina affords a second chance for long-buried riches, but can Carlobianchi and Doriano put down their beers long enough to keep their eyes on the prize? Along their slow motion, alcoholic grand tour of the Venetian countryside, they cross paths with Giulio, a shy architecture student who reluctantly warms to the sodden pair and indulges their rants about the folly of globalization and the slow decline of local color. Each roadside tavern offers the promise of one last drink – unless the next one ups the ante. Francesco Sossai’s dazzling sophomore feature is many things at once: a road movie, a casual caper, a tribute to a vanishing industrial Italy, a scruffy intergenerational odyssey, and free-flowing bender through time and space. “A Pleasant Italian Gem on Drinking Buddies, Aging and Wistful Flavors of Life ... Loose-limbed and quietly enchanting ... Brings to mind the fable-adjacent films of Alice Rohrwacher”- Tomris Laffly, Variety “A vivid portrait of a place ravaged by time ... This comedy-drama has humour, a heart and a melancholic streak.” - Boyd van Hoeij, Screen International “Bracingly alive ... Nothing short of exhilarating ... Vivid and perceptive snapshot of a place that’s falling indelibly into the past.” - Leonardo Goi, Filmmaker Magazine “One of the most charming films of the year. Quietly devastating.” - Alex Papaioannou, InSession Film “A grungy love letter to the Veneto region of Italy” - Anzhe Zhang, Slant Magazine

MIROIRS NO. 3 May 16 thru 18 Sat to Mon 5:45pm only! Dir. Christian Petzold - 2026 - 86m - Germany - In German with English subtitles - Valid for Punch Cards The newest mesmerizing spectre like feature from the director of PHOENIX & TRANSIT! During a weekend trip to the countryside, Laura, a young piano student from Berlin, miraculously survives a shocking car crash. Awakening in a nearby house, Laura finds herself in the care of a local woman, who tends to her with motherly devotion . As she recuperates, Laura begins to integrate herself into the lives of the woman and her initially reluctant husband and son. By turns haunted and hopeful, Laura and her adopted family reawakens to the world and comes to find a strange harmony together. However, they cannot outrun the ghosts of the past, which begin to stir, as acclaimed director Christian Petzold (PHOENIX, TRANSIT) spins a modern gothic fairytale about the lies we tell ourselves and the strange ways that grief, connection, and humanity bind and sustain us. “A gorgeous showcase for actress Paula Beer.” - Ryan Lattanzio, IndieWire “Petzold remains one of cinema’s most mesmerizing artists.” - Nick Schager, The Daily Beast “Quietly haunting…another worthy entry in his series of contemporary ghost stories.” - Brad Hanford, Slant

SOUND OF FALLING May 12 thru 14 Tues & Wed 2:15, 5:15 / Thu 5:15pm only! Dir. Mascha Schilinski - 2025 - 155m - Germany - In German with English Subtitles - Valid for Punch Cards The unforgettably transfixing, century spanning gothic German ghostly tale of quietly distressed young girls!  In Mascha Schilinski’s transcendent SOUND OF FALLING, fragments from a hundred years in one farmhouse coalesce into a cinematic flood of memory. Germany’s shortlisted Best International Feature Film entry to the 98th Academy Awards® tracks the lives of four adolescent girls (Alma, Erika, Angelika, Lenka) across the last century – their desires and distress, their secrets and truths, their encounters with another’s gaze and defiant gaze in return. Though separated by time, far-reaching resonances emerge as echoes of experience linger. Sensual and sensory, this awe-inducing Cannes prizewinner invites audiences to witness an eternal summer, a constant now, and ask: what is looking back at us from the past – or perhaps even from the future? “One of the most fascinating and powerful cinematic experiences of the year.” - Olga Artemyeva. ScreenAnarchy “Visually articulate and trading in broad, powerful sentiments regarding identity and womanhood, Sound of Falling is like a hypnotic work of art you can’t look away from.” - Calum Cooper, Cinerama Film “The writing is pitch-perfect, eschewing explanation and granting the audience the rarest of cinematic pleasures: the permission to be immersed without a lecture, the quiet intelligence that invites empathy without virtue signaling.” - Daniel Jonah Wolpert, NPR
