My cousin throws these parties called Fill The Room Where different people get together, have a good time, laugh, chat, film confessionals and eat good food!! And I was looking over pictures and it got me thinking about being so comfortable with yourself that you’re not afraid to fill the room… … not afraid to fill the room with your personality, your quirks, your thoughts & opinions! I always bring this back to drinking because I used to operate on “liquid courage” at parties honestly just in life and the past 3.5 sober years has made me really lean into the woman I am ✨ My energy fills the room ✨ My joy fills the room ✨ My humour fills the room And as soon as I realized that and stopped being scared of what other people think of me that’s when I stepped into my power! And that’s been the greatest feeling ever because I know I’m amazing! I’m not even being cocky it’s just me being unapologetically accepting and happy with myself: past, present and future I will continue to… FILL THE ROOM 😌

You might need to hear this 👇🏾 I’m reflecting on my summer, my year, my vision board, the experiences that I wanted to have as I get older and as time seems to move a little faster And then the little voice in my head always decides NOW is the best time to throw judgement, shame, or ‘should haves’ and ‘what if’s’ 😈 “You should’ve just done this” 👿 “don’t you regret that” 😈 “what if you actually stuck to it” 👿 “you would’ve been so much further along if” Yeah yeah yeah shut up… of course there’s some truth to those thoughts but how I approach them with NO JUDGEMENT is the key! Instead approaching them with grace and kindness so I don’t overshadow the amazing experiences I have had over the year 🫂 I’ve planned to go on 4 major trips this year 🫂 My god sons met each other 🫂 I upheld my boundaries with confidence 🫂 I laughed and smiled more than I cried 🫂 I was proud of myself so many ways This is all to say the quicker you work with the feeling of judgement the better you are at picking yourself up. Dusting off that shame and continuing to work on the goals you love 💕

Enough is Enough 🛑 I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again I’M OUTSIDE THIS SUMMER! Actually… … I told myself that “if I don’t have a valid excuse, I’m participating” 🫣 & I’m so glad I’ve made that promise to myself because I get to experience new adventures!
